Mendoza offers a number of sport events that complements its tourist attractions such as the Wine Roads, adventure tourism, science and natural landscapes among others.

Therefore, athletes in different sport disciplines come to the province to show their skills while the audience from different places find a destination that invites to come back.

The sport activities in Mendoza are varied: football, car racing, rugby, cycling, basketball, tennis, and cross country among others. It would be worth highlighting the football since it is the national sport. Professional teams that belong to the Argentinean Football Association (AFA) are present periodically during the year, and when the summer season comes, they start with their practices playing different games in the emblematic football Stadium Malvinas Argentinas.

Mendoza has five golf courts that attract tourists. With specially built landscapes, they offer an unforgettable and grateful experience.

These large green spaces with varying degrees of difficulty make the sport an attraction to people from everywhere. Lagoons, bunkers, trees, hillocks and areas of high pasture test the skill of the golfers.

Golf can be practiced during the whole year, which enables the enjoyment of a variety of climates and different scenes of Mendoza.  An example of this is in winter time, when the snow- covered golf courts generate an imposing framework.

Three golf courts are found in Gran Mendoza: Golf Club Andino located in General San Martín Park, Club de Campo Mendoza, in Guaymallén and La Vacherie , in Luján.

Also, 230 km towards the south of Mendoza , players can satisfy their hunger for golf in the Viñas del Golf, a court surrounded by vineyards,  and another one at the NevadoGolf Club.
